Imported products
From the perspective of the import market, in recent years, the import volume and import value of my country's pulp molded products have shown fluctuations. In 2019, China's imported pulp molded products amounted to 2240.98 tons, and the import value reached 12.643 million U.S. dollars; from January to August 2020, China's pulp molded products imported 1363.68 tons, and the import value reached 5.83 million U.S. dollars.
From the perspective of the importing countries of my country's pulp molded products, from January to August 2020, there are 29 countries/regions in which my country's pulp molded products are imported (except the country (region) is unknown). From the perspective of import volume of molded pulp products, molded pulp products imported from Japan totaled 757.3 tons, ranking first, followed by Vietnam with 221.1 tons of imports; from the perspective of import value, Japan still ranks first with its import value Reached 2.318 million US dollars; followed by Malaysia, the import value also reached 1.931 million US dollars.
Although the market scale of China's pulp molding industry is still small, its development potential is huge, and the market capacity cannot be underestimated. Looking ahead, combining the current status of the packaging market, the application status of pulp molding in e-commerce, food delivery and other related fields, and policy trends, conservatively predict that the penetration rate of pulp molding in the plastic packaging market will be around 5% in 2020. In other words, in 2020, my country's pulp molding market capacity is expected to reach 34.3 billion yuan.
With the continuous implementation of the plastic restriction policy, assuming that my country will strictly implement the plastic ban policy in the next few years, the penetration rate of pulp molding in the plastic packaging market is expected to reach 30% by 2025, and my country's pulp molding market capacity by 2025 It is expected to reach 238.8 billion yuan, showing the huge blue ocean of my country's pulp molding market.
